Leek And Bacon Flan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tbsp vegetable oil
    2 None leeks, pale section only, thinly sliced
    4 slices bacon, finely chopped
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    13 oz broccoli, cut into florets
    4 None eggs
    1 cup milk
    1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Lightly grease a 9-inch deep dish pie plate.
    Heat the oil in a medium skillet on medium heat. Add the leek, bacon and garlic and cook, stirring for 4-5 mins or until the leek has softened.
    Bring a medium saucepan of water to a boil on medium heat. Add the broccoli and cook for 2 mins. Drain and place in the prepared dish. Top with the leek mixture. Whisk the eggs, milk and cheese in a large bowl. Season with freshly ground black pepper. Pour the egg mixture over broccoli.
    Bake for 15 mins. Reduce the oven temperature to 325\u00b0F. Bake for 15 mins more or until set. Cool on a wire rack for 5 mins. Cut into wedges.
