Warm Antipasto Pasta Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb penne
    1 heaping tsp sugar
    1 clove garlic, minced
    6 tbsp balsamic vinegar
    3-4 medium-large red and yellow peppers, deseeded and diced
    3 tbsp olive oil
    1 tbsp pesto
    1/4 lb salami, thinly sliced
    5 oz package arugula, washed
    1/2 cup black olives
    None None Grilled burgers, to serve
Preparation
    Cook the pasta in boiling, salted water according to the package instructions. Meanwhile, place the sugar in a saucepan over a medium heat and leave to caramelize. Once it is light golden brown add the garlic. Deglaze the pan with vinegar and mix well. Stir the peppers into the saucepan and season. Saute for 2-3 mins.
    Drain the pasta. Mix the olive oil, pesto and pasta into the saucepan. Fold in the salami, arugula and olives then divide between 4 plates. Serve with grilled burgers.
