Chocolate, Prune And Almond Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 oz pitted prunes, chopped
    2/3 cup brandy
    13 tbsp butter, at room temperature
    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    4 None large eggs, at room temperature
    2 1/2 cups ground almonds
    5.5 oz semisweet chocolate, melted
    None None whipped cream, to serve
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0F. Grease an 11-inch closed springform pan then line base and side with baking paper.
    Combine prunes and brandy in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 5 mins. Let cool.
    In a stand mixer, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, 1 at a time. Stir in prune mixture, ground almonds and chocolate. Transfer to prepared pan and bake for 45 mins.
    Let cake cool in pan. Serve with whipped cream.
