Cinnamon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

    3/4 cup butter
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
    2 tsp ground cinnamon

    1 1/4 cups sugar
    2 None large eggs
    1/2 cup self-rising flour
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 cup buttermilk
    1/3 cup butter
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease a deep 9 inch square cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper. Grease the paper.
    To make the cinnamon topping, cream the butter and brown sugar in a small bowl until light and fluffy. Stir in the sifted flour and cinnamon, then push the mixture through a coarse sieve or colander to create a fine crumble. Set aside until needed.
    For the cake, cream the butter and sugar in small bowl until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating until combined. Transfer the mixture to a large bowl and stir in half the sifted flours and baking soda and half the buttermilk, then stir in the remaining flours and buttermilk. Spread into the prepared pan and sprinkle with cinamon topping. Bake for about 50 mins or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 5 mins before turning on to a wire rack to cool completely.
