Cheesecake With White Chocolate - cooking recipe

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
4 None eggs
1 lb mascarpone or whipped cream cheese
3/4 cup sour cream
1/3 cup cornstarch
2.5 oz white chocolate, coarsely chopped and melted
4 tbsp almond liqueur
1 cup almonds
1/4 cup heavy cream
Preparation

Mix flour, butter, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 pinch of salt, 1 egg and 3 tbsp cold water and knead until smooth. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 mins.
Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Grease and flour a 10 inch cake pan. Knead dough again and roll out into a 13 inch circle and use to line prepared pan with a 1 1/2-2 inch edge. Prick several times with a fork and line with baking parchment. Fill with pie weights or blind baking beans and bake on the bottom shelf for about 20 mins.
Mix mascarpone, sour cream, 1/4 cup sugar, 3 eggs, cornstarch, chocolate and liqueur until smooth. Remove tart shell from oven, reduce heat to 325\u00b0F then remove parchment paper and weights and spread cheese mixture over crust. Bake for about 45 mins.
Meanwhile, caramelize remaining sugar in a small saucepan and add almonds and toss to coat. Add cream and 5 tbsp water. Simmer until caramel dissolves. Remove cheesecake from oven and spread almonds over hot cake. Set aside to cool.
