Homemade Lemonade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 None lemons
    5 cups sugar
    5 quarts sparkling mineral water
Preparation
    Remove peel from lemons using a vegetable peeler, avoiding white pith; reserve lemons. Place lemon peel, sugar and 2 cups water in a large saucepan on low heat. Stir until sugar has dissolved. Bring to a boil on high heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer, without stirring, for 10 mins, or until syrup is thickened slightly; cool.
    Squeeze juice from lemons -(you will need 1 cup lemon juice). Add lemon juice to syrup. Strain into large pitcher. Pour into sterilized bottles. Store in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
    Just before serving, mix by adding 4 parts sparkling mineral water to 1 part lemonade, or to taste.
