Tropical Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tbsp elderflower cordial
    1 tbsp sugar
    1 None vanilla bean, split lengthwise, seeds scraped out
    1/2 None cantaloupe, peeled, coarsely chopped
    1/2 None papaya, peeled, thinly sliced
    3 None kiwis, peeled, halved, thinly sliced
    1 None banana, peeled, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Stir 1 cup water, cordial, sugar and vanilla bean seeds over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 10 mins, or until syrup thickens slightly. Transfer to a measuring cup, cover and chill for 1 hour.
    Combine fruit in a large serving bowl. Pour syrup over top and toss to combine. Serve.
