Portuguese Roasted Spatchcocks With Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 None whole chickens, spatchcocked, halved
    1/4 cup olive oil
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    2 lb potatoes, cut into thin wedges
    1 tbsp dried oregano
    3 tsp sweet paprika
    1/4 tsp cayenne
    2 tbsp lemon juice
    None None steamed green beans, to serve
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F.
    Place chicken halves in a large baking dish, breast-side up. Drizzle with 2 tbsp oil and rub with garlic, salt and pepper.
    Place potatoes and remaining oil in a second large baking dish. Combine oregano, paprika and cayenne in a small bowl. Sprinkle 1/2 over potatoes, tossing to coat. Rub remaining spice over chicken then pour lemon juice over top.
    Bake potatoes and chicken for 40-45 mins, basting several times during cooking, until potatoes are golden and chicken is cooked through. Serve with steamed green beans.
