Buttered Egg Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz wide egg noodles
    4 tbsp salted butter
    1/4 cup finely chopped white onion or shallot
    1/2 cup chicken stock
    2 tbsp fresh chopped parsley
    1 tbsp fresh chopped marjoram
Preparation
    Cook noodles in boiling salted water until al dente. Drain.
    Meanwhile, melt butter over medium heat. Cook onion for 1 min, or until softened. Add chicken stock, herbs and noodles. Toss to combine then cook for 1 min, or until heated through. Season.
