Pear And Almond Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup flour
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    1/4 cup sweetened flaked coconut
    1 cup milk
    8 tbsp (1 stick) butter, melted
    4 None eggs, lightly beaten
    2 tbsp golden syrup
    1 can (15 oz) pear slices in heavy syrup, drained and chopped
    1/2 cup sliced almonds
    None None Vanilla ice cream, to serve
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease a 9 inch pie plate.
    Sift flour and cinnamon into a large bowl. Stir in sugar and coconut. Whisk milk, butter, eggs and syrup in a medium bowl. Stir into flour just until blended. Stir in pears. Pour into the prepared dish. Sprinkle with almonds.
    Bake for 35-40 mins or until golden brown and set. Cool on a wire rack for 15 mins. Serve with ice cream.
