Pork, Apple, Parsnip And Sage Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tbsp olive oil
    2 1/2 tbsp butter
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 tbsp coarsely chopped fresh sage leaves
    3 None apples, peeled, cored and cut into wedges
    3 None parsnips, peeled and chopped
    1 3/4 lbs ground pork
    3 tbsp flour
    2 cups chicken stock
    1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
    1 None egg, lightly beaten
    None None Green salad, to serve
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 425\u00b0F. Heat 1/2 each of the oil and butter in a large ovenproof skillet on high heat. Add onion, sage, apples and parsnips and cook for 6-8 mins, until just golden. Remove from pan and set aside.
    Heat remaining oil and butter in same pan on high heat. Add ground pork and brown for 4 mins. Sprinkle with flour and cook for 2 mins. Add stock and season with salt and black pepper. Scrape bottom of pan to remove any remnants.
    Return vegetables to pan. Cover with pastry and brush with beaten egg.
    Bake for 25 mins, or until pastry is puffed and golden. Serve with green salad.
