Spaghetti With Meat Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tbsp olive oil
    6 None slices of bacon, chopped
    1 None large onion, finely chopped
    1 None stalk celery, roughly chopped
    1 None carrot, roughly chopped
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    2 lbs ground beef
    1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes
    1/4 cup red wine
    2 tbsp tomato paste
    1/4 cup milk
    2 None bay leaves
    14 oz spaghetti
    None None grated parmesan, to serve
Preparation
    Heat oil in a large, heavy based saucepan on high. Add bacon, onion, celery, carrot and garlic. Cook, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes, until vegetables have softened.
    Add ground beef. Cook 5 minutes, until well browned, breaking up lumps with back of a spoon. Stir in the tomatoes, wine, tomato paste, milk and bay leaves. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
    Meanwhile, cook pasta in boiling, salted water according to packet directions. Serve pasta topped with sauce and grated parmesan.
