Almond, Lemon And Pine Nut Teacake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 tbsp (1 stick) butter, softened
    1/2 cup sugar
    3 None eggs
    1 tbsp finely grated lemon peel
    2 tbsp milk
    1 1/4 cups ground almonds
    1/4 cup self-rising flour
    2 tbsp pine nuts
    1 tbsp flaked almonds
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease and line an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
    Beat the butter, sugar, eggs and lemon peel in a medium bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Stir in the milk, ground almonds and sifted flour. Spread the mixture into the prepared pan; smooth the top. Sprinkle with nuts.
    Bake for about 35 mins until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 mins. Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack.
