Cheesy Hot Dog Puffs - cooking recipe

3 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup mild salsa
9 None hot dogs, each cut into 3 equal pieces
1 None egg, lightly beaten
1 tbsp poppy seeds
None None Tomato ketchup, to serve
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 425\u00b0F. Grease and line 2 baking pans with parchment paper.
Cut each sheet of pastry into 9 equal squares for a total of 27 squares. Top the center of each pastry square evenly with cheese, then salsa. Place a hot dog piece diagonally across each pastry square (corner to corner). Wrap 2 opposite corners of pastry over hot dog to enclose. Place on prepared pans. Brush tops with egg, then sprinkle with poppy seeds.
Bake for 15 mins, or until golden, puffed and cooked through, swapping trays halfway through cooking. Serve with tomato ketchup.
