Puff Pastry Sausage Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tbsp vegetable oil
    1 None medium onion, coarsely grated
    2 slices stale white bread, crusts removed, soaked, excess water squeezed out
    14 oz ground beef
    8.75 oz sausage, casings removed
    1 None medium carrot, finely grated
    1 tbsp tomato paste
    2 tbsp fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped
    2 sheets puff pastry, defrosted, halved horizontally
    1 None egg, lightly beaten
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0F. Line a large baking tray with parchment paper.
    Heat oil in a small frying pan and sweat onion until soft and translucent. Let cool slightly then mix with bread, ground beef, sausage, carrot, tomato paste and parsley. Season.
    Distribute meat mixture along center of each piece of puff pastry. Roll up, brushing edge with egg to enclose filling. Cut each roll in 1/2 then place each roll, seam-side down, on prepared tray. Brush egg over top and bake for 25 mins, or until browned and cooked through.
    Let cool for 5 mins before serving.
