Strawberry Tart - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
12 tbsp cold butter, diced
3/4 cup powdered sugar, sifted, plus extra to dust
2 tsp baking powder, sifted
3 None egg yolks
1 1/4 cups heavy cream, whipped
3 pints strawberries, hulled
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease an 8 inch cake ring. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Sift flour with pinch of salt into a large bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add powdered sugar and baking powder. Mix in egg yolks until dough just comes together. Turn out onto a lightly floured work surface and lightly pull dough together to form a ball. Transfer to prepared tray and shape into an 8 inch disc. Chill for 20 mins.
Place greased cake ring around chilled dough to help keep its shape. Prick with a fork and bake for 25 mins, until golden brown. Set aside to cool.
To serve, spread whipped cream over tart shell. Top with strawberries. Dust with extra powdered sugar and serve.
