Ham And Cheese Macaroni - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 oz elbow macaroni
    2 tbsp cornstarch
    2 1/2 cups milk
    6 oz ham off the bone, diced
    2 tbsp finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
    1 2/3 cups grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Grease six 3/4-cup ramekins and place on a baking pan. Cook macaroni in a large saucepan of boiling water according to package directions. Drain; return to the pan.
    Blend cornstarch with a small amount of the milk in a medium saucepan until smooth, then stir in remaining milk. Cook on medium-high heat, stirring constantly until sauce boils and thickens. Add sauce, ham, parsley and 1 cup of the cheese to the drained macaroni; mix well. Divide mixture among prepared ramekins. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
    Bake for 30-35 mins, until tops are golden.
