Chili Shrimp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 tbsp oil
2 None onions, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 tsp salt
1 tsp dried chili flakes
1 tsp ground paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp ground turmeric
1 None lime, juiced
2 1/4 lb medium raw shrimp, peeled, deveined, tails intact
2 oz palm sugar, grated
1 tbsp tomato paste
None None fresh cilantro leaves, rice and poppadoms, to serve
Preparation

Heat oil in a large frying pan over low heat. Add onions and garlic. Cook, stirring, over low heat for 10-15 mins, until onions are caramelized. Add salt and spices. Cook, stirring, for 1 min, or until fragrant. Add 1/2 cup water and lime juice. Simmer, covered, for 3-4 mins.
Add shrimp, sugar and tomato paste. Simmer, uncovered, for 4-5 mins, until sauce thickens.
Sprinkle with cilantro and serve with rice and poppadoms.
