Rasberry Lemonade Float - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 cup lemon juice
    1/4 lb frozen raspberries
    None None lemon soda or soda water
    8 None scoops vanilla ice-cream
Preparation
    Place sugar, 1 cup water, lemon juice and raspberries in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a low boil. Cook gently, 2-3 mins, or until sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and refrigerate until cold.
    Strain through sieve to remove pulp. Divide between 8 glasses and top with lemon soda or soda water until glass is 3/4 full. Stir to combine and drop a scoop of ice-cream into each glass.
