Stewed Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 None Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and chopped
    1/3 cup sugar
    2 tsp lemon juice
    2 None whole cloves
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan on high heat. Add 1/2 cup water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 10 mins, or until fruit is pulpy.
    Stir with a wooden spoon until smooth. Use as a topping for ice cream or cereal.
