Slow Cooked Lamb Shanks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 None lamb shanks, frenched
    2 tbsp flour, seasoned with salt and pepper
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 None onion, finely chopped
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
    1/2 cup white wine
    1 sprig rosemary
    None None Mashed potato, to serve
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 325\u00b0F. Dust shanks lightly with flour, shaking off excess.
    Heat oil in a Dutch oven on high heat. Cook shanks for 3-4 mins, turning, until browned. Set aside.
    Saute onion in same pan for 5 mins, until golden. Add garlic and cook for 1 min. Return shanks to pan with tomatoes, wine and rosemary.
    Bake, covered, for 2 1/2 hours, until meat is very tender. Season to taste and serve with mashed potato.
