Ingredients

1 kg strawberries
2-3 tbsp caster sugar
4 tbsp orange liqueur
100 g whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 stalk lemon balm
4 None sugar cookies or shortbread
Preparation

Cut the strawberries in half. Sprinkle with the sugar and drizzle with the orange liqueur. Place in the refrigerator to marinate for at least 30 mins.
Beat the cream and vanilla extract with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Serve the strawberries topped with whipped cream and a cookie. Garnish with lemon balm or mint (if using).
