Salt And Pepper Squid - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb fresh squid, cleaned, scored, cut into 2 inch pieces
1/4 cup cornstarch
None None oil to deep-fry + 1 tbsp
1/2 None fresh small red chili, deseeded, finely chopped
1/2 None red bell pepper, finely diced
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 tbsp sea salt
2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
None None fresh cilantro leaves, to serve
Preparation

Dust squid with cornstarch, shaking off excess. Set aside.
Heat oil to 350\u00b0F. Working in batches, deep-fry squid for 2-3 mins, until light golden brown. Drain on paper towels and keep warm.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large wok over high heat. Add chili, bell pepper and garlic and stir-fry 20 seconds. Add cooked squid and toss for 1 min. Add salt, pepper and five-spice powder. Serve garnished with cilantro leaves.
