Orange Blossom And Pistachio Sticks - cooking recipe

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp orange blossom water
1/2 cup ground pistachios
2 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup custard powder or instant pudding mix
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground cardamom
1/2 cup flaked coconut
2 tsp finely grated orange peel
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup finely chopped pistachios

Beat butter and sifted powdered sugar in large bowl with an electric mixer until pale and creamy. Beat in orange blossom water. Add ground pistachios and combined sifted flour, custard powder and spices. Stir until a soft dough forms. Turn onto a well-floured surface and gently bring together. Shape into a disc. Wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate for 1 hour.
Grease 3 baking pans and line with parchment paper. Place combined coconut and orange peel on a piece of parchment paper. Place sesame seeds on a second piece of parchment paper. Place chopped pistachios on a third piece of parchment paper.
Roll tablespoons of dough into 6-inch lengths. Brush one-third of the sticks lightly with water, then roll in coconut mixture. Place on a baking pan. Repeat with another one-third of the sticks, wetting and rolling in sesame seeds, then placing on the second baking pan. Roll remaining sticks in pistachios and place on third baking pan. Refrigerate for 30 mins.
Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Bake sticks for 15 mins, or until golden, swapping trays halfway through baking time. Cool in pans 10 mins. Remove from pans; cool completely on wire rack.
