New York Strip Steak With Scalloped Potatoes And Spinach - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 cups heavy cream
    1 cup milk
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2/3 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
    2 1/2 lbs Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
    None None salt flakes
    None None cracked black pepper
    5 oz baby spinach leaves
    4 None New York strip steaks (7 oz each)
    1 tbsp olive oil
    None None Arugula leaves dressed with olive oil and lemon juice, to serve
Preparation
    For the scalloped potatoes, preheat the oven to 425\u00b0F. Place cream, milk and garlic in an ovenproof skillet on high heat. Bring to a gentle boil. Add potatoes and season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 10 mins.
    Remove from heat. Stir on spinach and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Place in oven for 20 mins.
    Meanwhile, to cook steaks, place grill pan on medium-high heat or preheat the grill to medium-high. Season steaks with salt and pepper and rub with olive oil. Cook for 2 to 3 mins each side for medium-rare doneness. Let stand for a few minutes before serving. Serve with the scalloped potatoes and arugula.
