Char Siu And Orange Beef Ribs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 tsp five-spice powder
4 1/2 lb beef spare ribs
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 None fresh long red chili, finely chopped
1/4 cup fresh ginger, grated
1/2 cup char siu sauce
3/4 cup orange juice
1 tbsp light brown sugar
2 None green onions, thinly sliced
Preparation

Rub five-spice powder over beef. Heat oil in a 6 quart pressure cooker. Working in batches, cook beef until browned. Remove from pan.
Add garlic, chili, ginger, char siu sauce, orange juice and sugar to pan and stir to combine. Return beef to pan and secure lid. Bring cooker to high pressure. Reduce heat to stabilise pressure and cook for 45 mins.
Release pressure using the quick release method and remove lid. Remove beef from pan and cover to keep warm. Skim excess fat from sauce and season to taste.
Serve beef drizzled with sauce and sprinkled with sliced onion.
