Party Cupcakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 tbsp (1 stick) butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 None eggs
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1/2 cup milk
None None Food colors, flaked coconut and an assortment of candies, marshmallows, chocolate sprinkles, for decorating
None None FOR THE BUTTERCREAM
2 tbsp butter
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F. Line two 12-cup muffin pans with paper liners.
Beat butter, vanilla and granulated sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Fold in sifted flour alternately with milk. Spoon into prepared pans.
Bake for 15-20 mins until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pans 5 mins. Remove from pans; cool completely on wire rack.
For the buttercream, beat all ingredients in a large bowl with electric mixer until creamy. Divide buttercream among several small bowls. Tint with drops of food color of your choice.
To tint coconut, place coconut in a small resealable plastic bag. Add a few drops of food color. Seal bag, shake and rub bag until coconut has absorbed color. Frost the cupcakes with the buttercream. Decorate as desired.
