Seeded Dinner Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 tsp dried yeast
3/4 cup warm water
2 tsp sugar
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp salt + 1 tsp extra
2 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 cup warm milk
3/4 cup pumpkin seeds + 2 tbsp extra
1/4 cup sunflower seeds + 2 tbsp extra
1 tbsp linseeds + 1 tbsp extra
1 None egg yolk, beaten lightly
Preparation

Whisk yeast, water and sugar in a small bowl until yeast dissolves. Cover and stand in a warm place for 10 mins or until frothy.
Sift flours and 1 tsp of salt into a large bowl and stir in yeast mixture, butter, milk and 3/4 cup pumpkin seeds and 1/4 cup sunflower seeds. Knead dough on a floured surface for 5 mins or until smooth and elastic. Transfer to an oiled large bowl. Cover and stand in a warm place for 1 hour or until dough has doubled in size.
Punch down dough and knead on a floured surface until smooth. Divide dough into 12 portions and shape each portion into a round roll. Place on an oiled baking tray, cover and stand in warm place for 15 mins or until doubled in size.
Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F. Using a sharp knife, slash the top of each roll. Brush rolls with egg yolk and sprinkle with extra seeds and salt, pressing down lightly. Bake rolls for 25 mins or until they sound hollow when tapped.
