Chocolate And Coffee Scones - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 cups self-rising flour
    2 1/2 tbsp butter, chopped
    4.5 oz dark chocolate, finely chopped
    2 tbsp granulated sugar
    2 tsp instant coffee, dissolved in 1 tbsp hot water
    1/2 cup 2% milk + 1 tbsp, for brushing
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0F. Lightly grease a baking tray. Sift flour into a large bowl. Cut in butter then add chocolate and sugar. Make a well in the center. Combine coffee, 1/3 cup water and milk. Add to flour mixture and mix until just combined.
    Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead lightly. Roll out to form a 6x10 inch rectangle. Cut into 12 portions and place on prepared tray. Brush with 1 tbsp milk and bake for 12-15 mins. Let cool on a wire rack.
