Walnut Banana Bread With Chocolate Chips - cooking recipe

2 None medium eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 None bananas, peeled and sliced
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp cinnamon
2/3 cup lowfat milk
5 oz walnuts, chopped
3 oz dark chocolate, chopped
None None powdered sugar, for dusting
1 cup heavy cream, whipped (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0F. Whisk together the eggs, vanilla extract, sugar and oil, then fold in the banana slices, flour, baking powder, cinnamon and a pinch of salt. Stir in the milk, 2/3 of the walnuts, and the chocolate.
Transfer batter to a cake tin, smooth the top, sprinkle with the remaining nuts and bake for about 50-60 minutes, until an inserted knife comes out clean. The cake should still be moist.
Leave to cool for 15-20 minutes in the pan before turning out and cooling on a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with whipped cream.
