Thai Beef And Tomato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tsp vegetable or olive oil
4 - 5.25 oz sirloin steaks
4 sprigs cilantro with roots, washed
2 None green chilies, thinly sliced
2 tbsp lime juice
2 tbsp fish sauce
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
2 inches fresh ginger, peeled, finely grated
2 tsp palm sugar, finely chopped
1 lb mixed tomatoes, halved
1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
3/4 cup fresh mint leaves, torn
2 None red chilies, thinly sliced
Preparation

Heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Sear beef for 3 mins each side for medium-rare or until cooked to your liking. Set aside, cover with foil and let rest for 5 mins. Slice thinly.
Pound cilantro with roots and green chili with mortar and pestle. Add lime juice, fish sauce, garlic, ginger and palm sugar and stir until combined and sugar dissolves. Toss with ground beef, tomatoes, cilantro leaves, mint leaves and red chilies.
