Papaya And Passion Fruit With Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 sheet prepared puff pastry, thawed if frozen
    1/4 cup + 1 tbsp sugar
    8 None passion fruits, pulp scooped out
    4 None papayas, peeled, deseeded, sliced
    None None whipped cream, to serve
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. For the pastry topping, cut 8 x 3 inch diameter rounds from pastry. Place on prepared baking sheet, brush with a little water and sprinkle with 1 tbsp sugar. Bake 12-15 mins, until lightly golden. Cool.
    Meanwhile, for the passion fruit syrup, heat 1/4 cup sugar with 1/4 cup water in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until sugar dissolves. Add passion fruit pulp and simmer 5-7 mins, until syrupy. Cool slightly. Pour a little into 4 serving dishes. Add papaya slices and a little more syrup. Top each dish with a pastry round and serve with whipped cream.
