Gingerbread - cooking recipe

7 cups fine oatmeal (ground oatmeal)
1 1/4 cups self-rising flour
1/4 cup fresh ginger, peeled, grated
1 cup dark brown sugar
3/4 cup butter
1 cup honey
1/4 cup molasses
1/2 cup 2% milk
2 None eggs, beaten
Preparation

Preheat oven to 300\u00b0F. Grease an 8 inch cake pan and line with parchment paper.
Combine oatmeal, flour and ginger in a large bowl. Heat sugar, butter, honey and molasses in a saucepan over low heat then stir into dry ingredients. Add milk and eggs and mix until smooth. Transfer to prepared pan and bake for about 40 mins. Increase heat to 325\u00b0F and bake for 15 mins. Let cool in pan.
