Chocolate Hazelnut Friands - cooking recipe

6 None egg whites
12 tbsp (1 1/2 sticks) butter, melted
1 1/4 cups ground hazelnuts
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup flour
4 oz semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
1/4 cup roasted hazelnuts, coarsely chopped
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 400\u00b0F. Grease a 12-cup oval friand pan or muffin pan.
Whisk egg whites in medium bowl. Stir in butter, ground hazelnuts and combined sifted powdered sugar and flour. Stir in chocolate. Spoon mixture into prepared pan. Sprinkle with nuts.
Bake about 20 mins until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 mins. Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack.
