Ingredients

1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup Rice Krispies
1 cup coconut
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 1/2 cups flour
1 egg
1 cup quick-cooking oatmeal
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Chill dough for 1 hour.
Roll dough into a ball (desired size of cookie).
Flatten with the bottom of a glass dipped in granulated sugar.
Sprinkle cookies with desired color of sugar depending on season.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
