Potato & Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb cabbage (small head, cored and sliced)
    3 russet potatoes (peeled and cut into chunks)
    1 cup cooked ham (diced, lean)
    6 cups chicken broth or 6 cups stock
    1 cup half-and-half
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except half-and-half in slow cooker.
    Cover. Cook on high for 6 hours.
    Remove 2 cups vegetables and 1 cup liquid from cooker and puree in blender. Return to cooker and stir in half-and-half. Cook 20 minutes more.
