Stardeles Sto Forno (Baked Sardines With Green Pepper) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb fresh sardine, washed, cleaned and butterflied
    2 garlic cloves, peeled and finely chopped
    1 green bell pepper, seeded and cut into strips
    1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh marjoram
    1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
    salt
    fresh ground black pepper
    2 tablespoons olive oil
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 350\u00b0F
    Place a layer of the sardines in a shallow baking dish.
    Sprinkle the garlic, pepper strips, marjoram, parsley and seasonings on sardines.
    Repeat layers, ending with sardines.
    Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 20 minutes.
    Serve hot or cold.
