Munyeta Recipe - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb dried navy beans
    4 teaspoons olive oil
    1 teaspoon salt (to taste)
    1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper (to taste)
    1/2 cup ham, cubed (can use ham from deli)
    4 garlic cloves, minced
    1/4 lb thick slab bacon, cubed
    4 cups water
    1/4 cup tomato sauce
    1 link chorizo sausage (Spanish sausage)
    1 medium onion, chopped
    4 teaspoons vegetable oil
    fresh parsley leaves, for garnish
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight; change water one time, if you choose.
    Put beans in water, cook them until soft; drain.
    In a frying pan, saute onion, bacon, garlic, sausage and ham in vegetable oil.
    Slowly add cooked beans, mashing them.
    Add tomato sauce, salt, pepper and olive oil; fry until crispy.
    Garnish with parsley.
    Serve hot with hot fluffy white rice, ripe plantains and a nice green salad, and of course with Cuban bread!
