Applesauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Preparation

Put the apples and water in a saucepan.
Cover and bring to the boil.
Boil over low heat, stirring occasionally, 20 minutes.
Stir in sugar and cook until it dissolves.
Add cinnamon or nutmeg.
Serve warm or cold.
