Sausage And Peppers Pasta (Paula Deen) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    1 (14 ounce) package smoked beef sausage, sliced (or any kind of sausage you prefer)
    3 bell peppers, chopped (red, green, yellow)
    1 sweet onion, chopped
    2 teaspoons garlic, minced
    1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
    1 teaspoon creole seasoning
    1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    16 ounces penne pasta, cooked and kept warm
    fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Preparation
    In large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add sausage and cook stirring frequently until sausage is browned.
    Add peppers, onion and garlic. Cook 7-8 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
    Stir in tomatoes, Creole seasoning, red pepper and salt. Mix well.
    Add pasta. Toss gently to coat.
    Reduce heat to medium and cook 5 minutes or until heat throughout.
    Garnish with parsley of desired.
