2 ounces gin
1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
3 -5 ounces chilled ginger ale or 3 -5 ounces ginger beer

Preparation

Add gin and lime juice to an ice-filled old-fashioned glass.
Top with ginger ale; stir gently.
Squeeze the lime wedge over the drink and drop it inches.
