Arminyan Plov (Armenian Pilaf) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 cups bulgur wheat (kasha)
    1 onion, chopped
    1 garlic clove, minced
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    2 cups chicken broth
    1/4 cup almonds, slivered
    1 1/2 cups chickpeas, cooked
    2 tablespoons lemon juice
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon cardamom
    1/2 teaspoon allspice
    1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1/2 cup raisins
    sour cream
Preparation
    Saute onion & garlic in olive oil until soft.
    Add kasha & stir well.
    Add all remaining ingredients except sour cream.
    Bring to a boil, reduce heat to simmer, cover, & cook until liquid is absorbed.
    Top each serving with a generous dollop of sour cream.
