Ingredients

8 tablespoons butter
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1/4 cup flour
1 cup buttermilk
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup pecans, whole or 1 cup pecan pieces
1 (10 inch) pie crusts
1 cup plus shredded coconut
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar together then add eggs and flour and mix well.
Mix buttermilk, nutmeg, and vanilla and stir into mixture.
Sprinkle chips and nuts into the unbaked shell and pour mixture over top.
Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until set.
