Indian Onion Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, peeled
    3/4 teaspoon salt
    4 teaspoons lemon juice
    1/4 teaspoon paprika (the redder in color, the better)
    1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Cut onion crosswise into paper-thin rings and put rings into a bowl.
    Add all other ingredients, toss and mix.
    Set aside for 30 minutes or more before eating in order to let the flavors blend.
