Baked Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 top round boneless beef steak (3 lbs and trimmed of all the fat)
    1 small green bell pepper, cut into 1/8 inch rings
    1 small onion, cut into 1/8 inch rings
    1 (14 ounce) can Italian stewed tomatoes, drained
    1/2 cup ketchup
    2 teaspoons oil
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    In large skillet, brown steak in oil on both sides, cooking about 8 minutes in all.
    Transfer steak to oven-proof dish or skillet large enough for all ingredients.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Pile bell pepper and onion rings on top of steak.
    Top with stewed tomatoes.
    Pour ketchup over all.
    Bake 60 minutes.
