Root Beer Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 slices bacon, diced
    1 onion, diced
    1 (36 ounce) can baked beans
    1/2 cup root beer (do NOT use diet)
    1/4 cup barbecue sauce (any type)
    1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
    3 dashes hot pepper sauce
    fresh ground pepper
Preparation
    Cook the bacon with the onion until the bacon is brown and crisp.
    Add the remaining ingredients and heat to a boil; turn down the heat and simmer, stirring often until slightly thickened, about 20 minutes.
