Turkey Tetrazzini - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cups cooked spaghetti
    1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    3 tablespoons dry sherry
    salt
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 cup sliced mushroom
    8 slices cooked turkey
    1/2 freshly grated parmesan cheese
    Sauce
    2 tablespoons butter
    3 tablespoons flour
    1 cup hot chicken broth
    1/3 cup heavy cream
    salt
Preparation
    Preheat the oven to 400F degrees.
    Butter a 2 qt, shallow baking dish and spread the cooked spaghetti in it.
    Melt the butter in a heavy pan.
    Stir in the flour and blend over moderate heat until smooth.
    Continue to cook, stirring constantly for 2 minutes.
    Add the chicken broth, continue stirring until the sauce thickens.
    Bring to a boil, lower the heat and cook 2 minutes more.
    Pour in the cream, add the salt and heat thoroughly.
    Stir the nutmeg, sherry and salt into the sauce and set aside.
    Melt the butter in a skillet, add the mushrooms and saute until soft.
    Spoon half the sauce over the spaghetti.
    Place the turkey slices and mushroom on top, cover with remaining sauce.
    Sprinkle with grated parmasan and bake for 30 minutes.
