Swiss Steak (From So Fat Low Fat No Fat Cookbook) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, lean boneless & trimmed of all fat
1 cup tomato juice (or stewed tomatoes)
1 large onion, sliced thin and separated into rings
1 large green bell pepper, sliced into thin rounds
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
Preparation

Spray a nonstick skillet with vegetable oil cooking spray.
Brown the steak well on both sides.
Pour off or blot away any fat.
Return the meat to the skillet and add the remaining ingredients.
Cover and simmer about 1-1/4 hours, or to desired doneness.
