Persian Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 cup shortening
    3 tablespoons vanilla
    1 cup flour
    3 cups quick oats
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon cinnamon
    1 tablespoon nutmeg
Preparation
    Cream wet ingredients. Mix dry ingredients then combine with wet ingredients.
    I like to use 1/2 butter and 1/2 shortening or 1/2 butter and 1/2 coconut oil. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
