Bran Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup wheat bran
    1 cup sultana
    1/2 cup sugar (white or brown)
    1 cup milk, skimmed
    1 cup self-raising flour
Preparation
    Soak the bran, sugar, milk and fruit together for at least 2 hours. Add flour and pour into a loaf tin.
    Bake at 180C/350F/Gas 4 for 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
    Serve in slices. Dieters may consume an occasional slice as a treat!
